Fine Art

Handdrawn Prismacolor and Ballpoint Pen of bull skull on argyle pattern

I am an emerging artist with the goal of exhibiting in the Los Angeles area by 2025. The majority of my professional work is in the commercial graphic design space. However, now focusing on fine art, my inspiration comes from influences in my life; experience, heritage, tradition, family, pop culture, fantasy and emotion are but a few subjects I translate into art. My work is designed to pique a discussion, be with yourself or others. My art is meant to be a type of reflection, a display, or visual conversation where pondering is welcomed and a dialogue is encouraged. A call and answer.

Trained as a graphic designer, my work ranges from photography, digital media, painting and writing. Each piece is derived from an idea, a series of thought processes and articulations that I  am moved to create.

I focus on color relationships, spatial composition and visual impact. Sometimes playful, sometimes commentary, my art challenges me to find the essence of each work’s meaning and to challenge the audience to join me on that journey.

My art has been featured in the following exhibitions:
